For all of those little cupcake questions...

How long do VB cupcakes stay fresh?

We make your cupcakes at Velvet Bakehouse with passion not preservatives so it is always best to eat them on the day our courier delivers them to your door. If, however, you have stronger will power than most and don’t polish off your cupcakes immediately, we recommend you place them in an airtight container and keep them at room temperature – fridges and cupcakes are not friends.

Can you gift-wrap the cupcakes?

When delivered your cupcakes arrive in a Kraft brown box that holds 12 cupcakes and is hand sealed with a Velvet Bakehouse sticker and matching ribbon.

Is there a minimum order?

We ask that you order 12 cupcakes, and you can choose up to two of our fabulous flavours.

Do I need to pre-pay?

We will send you an invoice which can be paid online before delivery or our Velvet Bakehouse Cupcake Courier will take cash on delivery.

Can I place an order for cupcakes for the same day?

We usually ask for 48 hours' notice for a cupcake delivery, but it is worth contacting us to see if a last minute delivery is possible. It just depends on how many cupcakes are flying around the kitchen on the day.

Do you deliver your cupcakes by mail?

We like to make sure that your cupcakes land next to your cup of tea or coffee in pristine condition, so we will hand deliver your order. Click here to see where we deliver to in full! You can also pop along to one of the farmers markets we attend and take them home yourself. (WARNING: in our experience, asking someone to pick them up for you may result in a ‘mouse’ eating one on the journey home).

Can you do cupcakes for my wedding, birthday, product launch?

The answer to this question is most definitely yes! Cupcakes really can be the icing on top of your event, so just drop us a line and we can talk flavours, frosting, sprinkles and so much more.

If I have a nut-allergy, should I eat at VB Cupcake?

We’re sorry, but Velvet Bakehouse is not a nut-free kitchen (if you have met us, you may well be aware of this fact: Cassandra considers herself to be a pecan where Sean is more of a hazelnut)
